While we offer packages that combine a beach ceremony with the reception at Gatherings, Gatherings is also available to couples who just want to use our Venue for the wedding reception and do not want us to package it with their ceremony. The menu selections for your event at Gatherings have all been created by our on-staff Chef/Owner, Dean Young. Dean has been in the food industry for over 30 years and he takes great pride in creating intriguing dishes that will entice the eye as well as the palate. Almost everything is prepared from scratch. The enthusiasm for quality and freshness is ever present in our kitchen, and Gatherings' menus reflect Chef Dean's strong belief in using the freshest ingredients and the most seasonal fruits, meats and vegetables.

We spent months looking for a good reception venue in the Monterey area, and nothing even comes close to Gatherings.It was elegant, remarkably affordable, and memorable in every way.
There's a little surprise at every conrer of the house... so classy yet inviting. I got guests who came to me and said how lovely it felt to be able to talk to anyone at the wedding.
My guests can't stop complimenting the service and the atmosphere of Gatherings. I had a beautiful wedding ceromony at a nearby church and then everyone went up to Gatherings where the piano was playing, bar was set up and everything was in place. The atmosphere was so elegant and classy. All my guests had a great time and I'll never forget my special day.
